Adjusting Height on your Stand

VERY IMPORTANT!!

A small change in hinge placement changes the height greatly. so please measure and remeasure before attempting this.

Step #1- Measure The Height Of Your Stand While At your Preferred Playing Position.

Sit on your couch or playing chair and pull the stand up to you before making any changes. Get a Measuring tape and see how much lower you want to make the stand once your have come up with a inch measurement of "How Many Inches you Want it Lowered" Then Fallow Step 2

Step #2 - The Preferred Way To Lower your Stand

Ok So you know how many inches If Any you need to lower your stand.  FIRST thing to remember is that A LITTLE MOVEMENT GOES A LONG WAY! What I mean by that is that moving Position 1 to a position #2 is small but lowers the top a lot.  The Rule is that Every inch moved up on the leg (IE Position #2) will make the top lower aprox.  2.5 inches.  So If you only want an inch or an inch and a half I would go in half inch increments until you have the desired height you want. Once you have relocated hinge spot #1 to a new position #2 the rest of your hinge will look like a V seen above. This is perfect and just make sure that the hinge does not protrude above or below the Side of the Leg.

A Second Way To Move Your Stand Lower Or Higher is Below

The Wheel Station, Command Station and Media Station all have a slight height adjustment.  Click on the movie to the right to see how to do it.

This version of changing the height is a little more involved. There is a detailed streaming video to the right to show how to do this. In description, the way to change height:

Unscrew all screws on the bracket, Then take position 1 and move it to position 2 therefore creating a new spot for a screw in position 3. Next take position 4 and move it to a floatable position 5. (Floatable means you can put the screw in the Position 5 as seen in above picture or you can float it up as seen in the First Segment on this page (This Will Allow it to Be LOWER) To Make it higher simply put position #2 to position # 1 and place the rest of the screws in the correct placement. The Video To The Right Will show you in More Detail on this way of lowering or making your stand  higher.

IMPORTANT

Position 3 and 5 are not pre drilled, you will be making a new hole when you screw it in.
